TRITON World Championship Finals: 2027–2030 Host City Cycle

#### TRITON World Series is a new international triathlon series built around accessibility, progression and long-term destination value. TRITON is seeking a host destination for the TRITON World Championship Finals, a multi-year partnership including a 2027 Test Event followed by three Championship editions (2028–2030).

The Championship is a single-day, multi-distance triathlon (Sprint, Middle and Long running at the same time), plus the TRITON Nations World Cup, Corporate World Cup and Kids & Parents Challenge, delivered as a 2–3 day international festival.

Event scale (estimates):

* 1,000–2,000 athletes from 50+ nationalities
* 1.5–2 additional travelers per athlete
* 3–4 night average stay
* Approx. 750–2,000 hotel rooms on peak nights
* 10–15% year-over-year participant growth

Host destinations should be prepared for:

* A host rights fee and annual financial commitment
* In-kind support including permits, public safety, road closures, venues and volunteers
* Government support and a local organizing partner

**Host destinations retain 70% of locally generated commercial revenue. Full details, including financial framework, bid requirements and evaluation criteria, are outlined in the attached RFP.**
